Welcome to Who’s Haute? Thursdays. Each week, A Glam Slam will feature an athlete who is relevant both on and off the field, the ice or the court. A Glam Slam will highlight these athletes' relationships to their sport and their lifestyle away from the game.
Mardy Fish might be the best tennis player in America right now based on his incredible run this Summer. Since Wimbledon, the 28 year-old has won two tournaments at Newport Beach and Atlanta and 15 out of 16 matches, defeating top opponents including Andy Murray, Andy Roddick and John Isner. Though he lost to Federer for the Cincy Masters title, America is beginning to take a closer look at the tennis star. With his recent string of wins, Fish is well prepared to compete in the US Open which begins on August 30th. And Mardy has been making his impressive mid-career run in K-Swiss. The tennis star signed a 4-year deal with the brand back in 2008, to endorse the company’s clothing and shoes. Fish was the first top tennis player to sign on with the company but several of his tennis buddies followed suit. Mardy's "fashionable" group of friends, both during tournaments and at photo shoots, includes Americans Bob and Mike Bryan and Sam Querry, who are also K-Swiss ambassadors. Aside from his K-Swiss attire, Fish can attest that his lifestyle changes have helped him to become one of the best players of the Summer. A fitter Fish has clearly led to on-court success; he dropped 30 lbs. which has increased his speed and mobility on the court. Be sure to tune in to the US Open to see if Fish can finish off his run with a Grand Slam title. Mardy Fish is Who's Haute. - Glam Gal -August 24, 2010

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: MAT HOFFMAN
If you know anything about BMX, you know Mat Hoffman. He's one of the most recognizable BMX riders and considered to be the greatest Vert-ramp rider in the history of the sport. Matt began the Freestyle BMX circuitat only 13 years old and quickly moved up the ranks becoming the youngest pro ever in the sport at age 16. By age 20, he had already become a key player with a list of accomplishments that other riders could only dream of in a lifetime. Hoffman is most famous for inventing and executing daring stunts, which extreme athletes are still trying to emulate 15 years later.
But Mat's success exceeds developing Vert ride tricks. He also revolutionized the business of the sport. He left his primary sponsors in 1991 and formed his own company, Hoffman Promotions, where he put together a team of Freestyle bike riders who participated in show tours. Hoffman Productions led to the creation of the Hoffman Sports Association (H.S.A.) which organizes Freestyle BMX events worldwide, including ESPN's X Games. And as if that wasn't enough, he even went on to build and design his own bikes, creating his other business, Hoffman Bikes.
To further add to his impressive resume, Hoffman also has a variety of TV and film producing credits to his name. But tonight, he will be the subject. ESPN's popular "30 for 30" documentary series will feature the BMX rider in an episode titled "The Birth of Big Air." Produced by Johnny Knoxville and Spike Jonze, the episode will focus on Matt's remarkable career and the ways in which he built up the sport of BMX Freestyle. Tune into "The Birth of Big Air" tonight, at 7 p.m. EST, on ESPN.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: ALBERTO CONTADOR
At only 27 years old, Spanish road bicycle racer, Alberto Contador, has already built an impressive list of cycling victories. He was one of the youngest Tour de France winners ever, when he took home the title at age 24, in 2007. And from there his career continued to progress. He is only the fifth racer in history to win all three Grand Tours (Tour de France, Giro d'italia, Vuelta a Espana) of road cycling. Now Contador is poised to take the title once again in the 2010 Tour de France, which will culminate on July 25th.
On top of his cycling skills, Contador has had some extra support for this year's Tour de France. His fans were able to accompany Alberto during a Tour stage, as 250 lucky winners had the opportunity to have their names written all over the Astana leader’s bike. The bike will be auctioned off and the money raised will go to the Alberto Contador Foundation, dedicated to the fight against cerebral stroke and to promote cycling and bicycle as alternative transport. To further support this cause, Contador has also launched an online store, where fans can find various fashion items related to their idol.
And while the coveted yellow jersey is his ultimate goal, Contador opts for high-end designs off the course. Though he has plenty of sponsors including the likes of GIRO (glasses and helmets) and SIDI (competitive performance gear), none are as stylish as Hugo Boss. In addition to its global, prestigious appeal, Contador prefers the brand because "it's comfortable and my suits work." A fashion-forward cyclist...now that's 'hot.'

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: IKER CASILLAS
Iker Casillas is a football goalie who plays for the Spanish La Liga clubReal Madrid and serves as the captain of the Spanish national team. He's been touted as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe and continues to gain a great reputation for his play. Still considered to be a young goalkeeper, Casillas is poised to become one of the all-time best. And a World Cup win would certainly solidfy his place in a long, impressive line of Spanish goalkeeping greats. The Captain has led his team to the finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, where Spain will take on the Netherlands this Sunday.
But Casillas' World Cup run did not come without controversy. His off-field personal life made it onto the field. The goalie is currently dating Spanish model and TV sideline reporter, Sara Carbonero, who often has to interview her boyfriend following his games. And after Spain's shocking loss to Switzerland in the opening round, the beautiful sportscaster was blamed when fans accused her of being a distraction to her boyfriend. Luckily the pair has the last laugh as Spain is now headed to the finals.
As if his football success and gorgeous girlfriend aren't enough, Peoplemagazine has also dubbed Casillas "the next big thing." And that's not just because of his skills on the field. With his good looks and sense of style, fashion houses are starting to take notice. Spanish designer, Christian Cota, believes Casillas has the potential to be turned into a 'brand' much like Beckham or Ronaldo. He might not be a familiar name in the U.S. just yet, but keep an eye out for this sexy soccer star.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: RAFAEL VAN DER VAART
Rafael van der Vaart is a Dutch footballer who plays for La Liga club Real Madrid and the Netherlands national team. The dominating midfielder began his career at the famous Ajax youth academy and quickly moved through the ranks, becoming a star first for Hamburg and then for Real Madrid. He was expected to play an important role in the 2006 World Cup but an injury prevented that effort. Now he is back in full force, leading his team in South Africa. They've won 3 of their 4 World Cup matches, defeating Slovakia, Japan and Denmark. Tomorrow Rafael and the boys will face Brazil in what will be an exciting quarterfinal matchup.
Rafael's starpower extends from the field to his personal life. He's married to arguably one of the most famous and fashionable football WAGs, Sylvie van der Vaart. After their 2005 wedding was shown on live TV, the couple was dubbed the Dutch version of Posh and Becks. Perhaps their insanely good looks have something do with that comparison? Not to mention they have an adorable son, Damian, as well.
When Rafael isn't playing with his own child (his favorite pastime), he's helping other children. The footballer works with Villa Pardoes a 'holiday home' for kids with life-threatening illness. Sylvie is one lucky gal; this guy is a total winner.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: FERNANDO TORRES
Fernando Torres is one of the top players in the world of football. Nicknamed "El Nino" ("The Kid") because of his success at such a young age and his youthful looks, the striker is definitely not known for a cookie-cutter style of play. Former Spanish national coach, Luis Aragones, has even said he “never scores two goals the same." Currently Torres plays for the Premier League Club Liverpool and the Spanish National Team, where he is leading the boys in their quest for the coveted World Cup trophy. Though they fell short in their game against Switzerland, Torres helped his team bounce back to defeat Honduras and now they are ready to take on Chile tomorrow.
The football superstar also taken center stage when it comes to endorsements. On the fashion front, you might have seen Torres hocking the Nike Total 90 Laser III football boot or starring in the menswear campaign for Spanish fashion line, El Corte Ingles. Or maybe you recognize him from the humorous and popular Pepsi ad where he had a leading role. Or was it his foray into banking with an ad for Banco Gallegoand investor relations company, Aviva? Bottom line, this guy is everywhere, both on and off the field.
But more rewarding than scoring goals or shooting commercials for Torres was becoming a dad. He married his childhood sweatheart, Olalla Dominguez and the two welcomed a baby girl last year. He may be young and he may be "hot" but ladies, this guy is a total family man.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: LIONEL MESSI
Nothing is hotter in sports right now than the World Cup. So in it’s honor, Who’s Haute? Thursdays will feature a different World Cup footballer until the completion of the event. First up: Argentina’s forward, Lionel Messi.
Lionel “Leo” Messi is an Argentine footballer who currently plays for La Liga team Barcelona and the Argentine National team. He made an immediate impact in Barcelona; at only 17, he became Barcelona’s youngest ever La Liga scorer, proving from a very young age that he is one of the best players of his time. Though an injury had jeopardized his time of play in the 2006 World Cup, his impressive performance in the 2010 cup thus far has helped lead the Argentine team to a 1-0 victory against Nigeria and a 4-1 win against Korea. Messi and his team will take on Greece as they continue their quest for the Cup.
With the career that he’s had so far, it’s no surprise that Adidas jumped to endorse Messi. He is the ultimate poster boy for the brand and has represented the new Adidas World Cup model, the F50 adiZero. These are the boots Messi is wearing in South Africa. And that’s not his only foray into fashion. Leo had to keep pace with all of the other World Cup footballers posing in their underwear. He recently signed on with Argentine lingerie company, Lody, appearing in ads for their men’s line.
But endorsements aside, Messi uses his fame to help others, especially through his “Fundacion Leo Messi” charity, which helps to provide access to education and healthcare for children. He was also announced as a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF earlier this year. In this role, he will work with UNICEF on a series of activities aimed at supporting children’s rights.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: YURI FOREMAN
Yuri Foreman is the current WBA Super Welterweight Champion and Israel's first world boxing champion. He is also the first Orthodox Jew in 75 years to hold a world title. Known as the "Lion of Zion" when he steps into the rink, Yuri is unbeaten with a record of 28-0 and just 8 knockouts. Now he is prepping for a big fight, on a big stage. On June 5th, Foreman will battle three-time World Champion, Miguel Cotto, at Yankee Stadium.
So how does a boxer prepare for such a fight? If you're Foreman, you will simply spend the day resting as you observe the Sabbath. Because outside the rink, Yuri is not only an Orthodox Jew, but he is also preparing to become a Rabbi. He is studying the Talmud and attending rabbinical classes by day, while training for boxing at night.
And Yuri's religious pride is never too far. He even wears the Star of David on his boxing trunks. At Yankee Stadium he will be outfitted by CAVI, the lifestyle clothing brand who recently entered an ongoing sponsorship with Foreman. The two joined forces for his match in November, where CAVI specially designed boxing trunks and a robe for Foreman, customized with gold and black hues inspired by his Eastern European heritage. Be sure to tune in to the fight on Saturday, June 5th. It will air on HBO at 10:15 p.m.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: RAJON RONDO
Rajon Rondo was the 21st overall draft pick in 2006 and just four years later, he is already an NBA All-Star. He is an integral part of the Boston Celtics team and even his superstar teammates have nothing but high praise for the young point guard. In just his second pro season, Rondo helped his team win an NBA championship. And while there's no doubt that his game has room for improvement, many believe he is poised to become one of the best guards in the league in the next few years. But for now, Rondo and the Celtics are trying to secure another run at an NBA title.
While playing ball might be Rajon's first love, his love of clothing is a close second. Not only does he have a large sneaker collection and countless pairs of jeans but he likes to spend most of his free time shopping. Rajon has even been known to play fashion police in the locker room and isn't afraid to "trash talk" his teammates when it comes to their off-court style. So who is the best-dressed guy on the team? He is, of course.
In fact, Rondo likes shopping so much, it's been said that he took a group of students back-to-school shopping for new outfits and shoes on a whim. Which brings about another important issue for Rajon. He also foundedCamp Rondo, "a basketball development experience" for kids of all ages. In addition to basic skills, Rajon hopes the camp will instill a good work ethic and good habits into these kids.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: CHAZZ WOODSON
"Average is my Enemy." That's the motto of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) attackman, Chazz Woodson. Known for his unique, energetic style of play, Chazz has become one of the most exciting players in MLL over the past few years. He was a two-time All-Ivy player at Brown University before being drafted in 2005. And his success continued with a 2008 MLL All-Star appearance that was so memorable, it influenced a line of lacrosse gear. Currently playing for the Chicago Machine, Woodson will begin to electrify the field yet again, as the the 2010 MLL season kicks off this weekend.
Woodson's style of play on the field is complimented by his unique sense of style off the field. He has two of his own t-shirt lines called Zig Zag Apparel and Chazz Woodson Regal. WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: JUSTINE HENIN
The French Open begins in less than three weeks and Justine Henin is said to be the female player to beat. Her long list of accomplishments includes 42 victories with the WTA, 7 Grand Slam titles and a gold medal from the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. The Belgian born player retired from the WTA in the 2008 season but returned earlier this year. In only her second tournament back, an unseeded Henin made it to the finals of the Australian Open. And she just picked up her first comeback win in Stuttgart, Germany which moved her back up to no. 19 in the rankings. Henin has won four of her Grand Slams on clay making her the favorite as she hits the court in Roland Garros.
So what did Henin do during her 16-month retirement? In an effort to "find herself" outside of the world of tennis, Justin became a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF. She also dedicated herself to her own assocation called Justine for Kids, a Belgian charity which aims to increase funding for projects that will bring comfort and joy to sick children and their families.
Although her charitable work continues, Henin couldn't stay away from the game she loves. And she has made her comeback in three stripes, with the help of Adidas. Henin remained an Adidas brand ambassador even during her retirement and the brand was equally as supportive of her. Keep an eye out for Henin as she continues her impressive comeback run.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: KEN GREEN
This week's Who's Haute is very special because what's "hotter" than an amazing comeback story?
Ken Green is a 5-time PGA Tour Winner. But after a horrific car accident last Summer, Ken lost his brother, his girlfriend, his dog and his right leg. And the tragedy didn't stop there. Months later, Ken also lost his son. At a time when many of us would have given up all hope, Ken fought back. The one thing he didn't lose was his love for the game of golf.
Just last week, Green made an unforgettable return to the Champions Tour. He was the first golfer with a prosthetic leg ever to compete in a golf tournament. Green was paired with his good friend and golfer, Mike Reid, at the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, a 54-hole Champions Tour two-man, best-ball competition. Green had a goal of making two birdies in the first round and he did just that. Ken is already planning his participation in future golf tournaments and he hopes that his play will serve as an inspiration for the physically challenged.
And Ken's story is so inspiring that there is an entire Web site dedicated to his comeback. KenGreensComeback.com features news, photos and updates on the golfer as well as Ken's blog. But even better, it allows you to purchase the "KG Commemorative hat." The hat is in Ken's favorite color, green, and pay homage to the golfer as it features his initials. There's no greater way to show your support for Ken especially since all proceeds of the sale of the hats will be donated to the Ken Green Living Expenses Trust. Ken Green is not only a great golfer, but a survivor and an inspiration.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: LOLO JONES
Lori "Lolo" Jones is an American track and field star known for jumping hurdles on the track and overcoming hurdles in her life. After a difficult childhood, Jones had a stellar college career at Louisiana State University. While there, she won 3 NCAA titles and 11-All American Honors. She was favored to win the 100 m hurdles at the 2008 Bejing Olympics but after a devastating fall, she ended with a disappointing 7th place finish. But Jones has bounced back. Most recently she won a gold medal at the 2010 World Indoor Championship for the women's 60 m hurdle. Setting a personal best and a new American record, this performance demonstrates why she's still one of the best in her field.
In addition to her successes on the track, Jones has often been dubbed one of the hottest female Olympians. She even posed nude in the ESPN 2009 The Body Issue. But Lolo's no stranger to showing skin since running outfits, especially the shorts, offer minimal coverage. And it's not surprising that her favorite body parts are her legs. Not only are they her money-makers, but she puts in a lot of hard work to keep them looking good.
When it comes to clothing, Jones relies on her partnership with corporate sponsors Oakley and Asics. She's a fan of Oakley's ENDURING sport performances glasses. And she recently headed to Japan to design anAsics spike that will help her win the gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: JOE MAUER
Joe Mauer recently agreed to an eight-year contract extension with the Minnesota Twins worth $184 million, making this the largest contract in the history of Major League Baseball for a catcher. Mauer was the first catcher ever to win the AL batting title and he did it three times. His defense behind the plate has been just as impressive, as he has also won two Golden Glove awards. Mauer was honored with the title of AL MVP for the 2009 baseball season. With accomplishments such as these under his belt, it's easy to see why many believe Mauer is the best catcher in baseball.
He might be one of the highest paid players in the Major Leagues now, but Mauer didn't always live the high life. To save money, he used to share a house with his good friend and Twins' teammate, Justin Morneau. Luckily for us, Sports Illustrated went behind the scenes years ago to take a look at their bachelor pad. And before he made it big, Mauer also utilized his "boy next door" good looks to bring in some extra cash. He modeled for Perry Ellis in the 2004-2005 off season.
But life is good for Mauer these days. He will grace the cover of Sony Playstation's "MLB 10 The Show" and he will be the first catcher ever to do so. Mauer's cover gig is one of the biggest endorsement deals that he's had to date and those opportunities are sure to increase. He recently signed on with major marketing company, IMG, for help with his off-field endeavors. It's safe to say that Mauer will retain his rock star staus in Minnesota for many years to come.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: CHELSIE HIGHTOWER
When we think of "sports," dancing is not typically the first thing that comes to mind. But not only is dancing physically commanding because it requires both strength and stamina, it is also extremely competitive.

Since then, she has represented Team USA in some of the most prestigious dance competitions in the world. This appearance helped catapult her to dancing stardom and led to her most recent gig. For the past few seasons, Chelsie is one of the dance pros on ABC's hit show "Dancing With The Stars."
Costume choice is vital to a dancer, as their wardrobe can easily help to make or break a performance. And Chelsie is no stranger to looking good both on and off the dance floor. WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: ADAM SCOTT
The countdown to the Masters has begun, as the tournament is only one month away. And Adam Scott is ready to win a major championship. This Australian golfer began his professional career in 2000. By age 27, he had won seven international events and five times on the PGA Tour. Following in the footsteps of his mentor, fellow Aussie golfer Greg Norman, Scott has become one of the most recognizable golfers at the international level. He is one of the only two golfers in the world born in the 1980s, who have made it into the top ten of the official world golf rankings. Look out for this 30-year old to become one of the best golfers from the land down under.
And this Aussie always looks good when he hits the green. While other golfers turn to sportswear brands such as Nike and Adidas to outfit theselves on the course, Scott opts for high-end designers. Some might actually know him better for his Burberry ads then for his golfing skills, as he has previously worked with the London based fashion house. Recently he's paired his 9-iron with Hugo Boss attire, which has easily made him one of golf's snazziest dressers. Talk about teeing off in style.
Scott is also rumored to be launching his own apparel line, with an official announcement expected in the coming weeks. WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: RYAN MILLER
Just a few days ago, Team USA defeated Team Canada in one of it's greatest Olympic Winter hockey game upsets since the 1980 "Miracle on Ice." And a huge factor in that win was goaltender, Ryan Miller. Just yesterday, Miller shined in a another USA win over Team Switzerland with a perfect game of 19 saves in 19 shots. Not only is he the #1 goalie for the Olympic team, but he's also been one of the best goaltenders in the NHL thus far this season, for the Buffalo Sabres. For now, Miller and Team USA are one win away from the gold medal game. And America couldn't be more excited.
It's more than just his goaltending skills that has made Miller a popular US Olympian. He shows his patriotism and does so in style. After all, if you look good you play well, right? Miller thinks so. He specially designed a totally cool face mask to include a muscular Uncle Sam along with Olympics logos and patriotic sayings. Unfortunately, the IOC decided to play fashion police and Miller was told to remove some of those phrases, including the “Miller Time” logo on the back of his mask.
But the man behind this mask is lending his style sense to his fellow Americans in other ways. Miller owns a clothing store in East Lansing, Michigan called The Refinery. The Refinery was started by Miller in 2007 and is a world-class clothing retailer with an amazing selection of denim. Miller has said that it's difficult to find the right clothing for a hockey player's build and his store caters to both those athletes and their wives. Seems like he's got the looking good thing covered both on and off the ice.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: HANNAH TETER
It's been a successful Winter Olympics thus far for Team USA, with five gold medals and surely more on the way. Hannah Teter will seek to add to that list today, as she competes in the women's snowboard halfpipe. Hannah began snowboarding at age 8 and quickly became a star. At age 15, she was already the World Junior Halfpipe Champion and the wins just kept coming. Even participating in the Olympics is nothing new for Teter. She won the gold medal in the halfpipe at the 2006 Games in Torino. And now it's time for a repeat.
Off the slopes, Hannah recently appeared in Glamour magazine to chat about her fashionable side, and in the Sports Illustrated 2010 Swimsuit issue to show off her gorgeous figure. And in a nice combination of the two, Hannah even has her own line of underwear. But this is fashion for a cause. Her "Sweet Cheeks" line of panties are black and hot pink and read "Make Love Not War" on the backside. For each pair sold, $5 will be donated to Doctors Without Borders. And that's just one way that Hannah gives back. She also has her own charity called "Hannah's Gold," which donates money to help AIDS victims in Kenya. To further help the cause, she often donates her prize winnings as well.
And this Vermont native is so popular, that Ben & Jerry's ice cream created a new flavor in her honor in 2009. Called Hannah Teter's "Maple Blondie," the flavor features a blend of maple ice cream, blondie brownie pieces and caramel. But Hannah doesn't always give into temptation. She eats an organic, vegetarian diet which keeps her at the top of her game. Stay tuned to watch Hannah Teter's quest for gold during the Vancouver Olympics.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: EVAN LYSACEK
It’s been 22 years since a U.S. male figure skater has brought home the Olympic gold medal. But Evan Lysacek hopes to change that. At 6’2, this two-time Olympian, two-time U.S. Champion and 2009 World Champion towers above the competition and he certainly will be a force to be reckoned with at the Winter Games in Vancouver. Lysacek started skating at age 8 after his grandmother gave him a pair of skates in hopes that he would join the icecapades. That wish might not have come true, but her grandson is ranked 2nd in the world in men’s figure skating. Not too bad at all.
In addition to his incredible talent, Evan is bringing something else to the sport; a fashion forward, yet masculine approach to figure skating.Lysacek believes his "street" style demonstrates the idea of what a modern man should dress like and look like, in lieu of skating's traditional attire of feathers, spandex and sequins. He hopes to bring a more mainstream (think Scott Hamilton) approach to skating gear. Even top designer, Vera Wang, has called Lysacek her "muse." The two have been working together to bring his vision to life, through his Olympic costumes.
And Lysacek’s sense of style continues off the ice. He utilizes his height as a model for NYC-based modeling agency, DNA Models as well as for Ralph Lauren, who also happens to be the official U.S. outfitter of the 2010 Olympic Games. A supermodel and a model citizen. Lysacek also works with numerous causes including Ronald McDonald House Charities, Make A Wish Foundation, Figure Skating in Harlem, Special Olympics, P.S. Art Foundation and Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Just to name a few.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: GRETCHEN BLEILER
As we all know by now, the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver are only days away. And for Team U.S.A. snowboarder, Gretchen Bleiler, this won’t be her first trip. She won a silver medal at the 2006 games in Torino and this time, she’s going for the gold. Gretchen developed her passion for the sport at age 11 and has been riding ever since. Bleiler was the first female snowboarder to perfect an inverted backside 540, known as the “crippler.” For those unfamiliar with snowboarding terminology, this is a very impressive trick. But if all of Gretchen’s accomplishments were highlighted here, you’d be reading for quite awhile. She has countless titles and awards, has appeared on a number of talk shows and has developed into quite the celebrity. Here’s are some of the reason’s why…
Thanks to Gretchen and the Oakley brand, all ladies can now hit the slopes in style. The two have collaborated on a collection that includes goggles, outerwear, apparel and accessories. She has developed a brand new Vanilla Lip Balmer SPF 15 from Mission Products that soothes chapped lips and tastes like Vanilla cake batter.
And it doesn't stop there. Because of her many accomplishments, Gretchen certainly has no shortage of fans. One of her coolest admirers isCoca-Cola. Not only are they a big sponsor, but she has even made it onto their product tags. Keep on the lookout for Gretchen’s face on your coke cans. And keep an eye out for this snowboarding star at the upcoming Olympic Games.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: CAROLINE WOZNIACKI
Caroline Wozniacki is a gorgeous,19-year old Danish tennis sensation. Many say she was born an athlete, with parents who played both volleyball and football. She was named and awarded the 2008 SonyEricsson WTA Tour Newcomer of the Year and is currently the youngest singles player ranked in the top 10 in the world. Her killer backhand helped her finish the 2009 U.S. Open in the Runner-Up position. And though she just was ousted in the 4th Round of the Aussie Open, this rising star is definitely one to keep an eye on.
The tennis court has always doubled as a sports runway for new trends in fashion. And Wozniacki has become one of tennis' newest supermodels. She is a huge fashion fan and was a natural fit as the exclusive new faceof Stella McCartney for Adidas. When it comes to her on-court style she says combining performance and style is key. Her dusty, mauve ruffled McCartney dress was easily the best 2009 U.S. Open fashion. And as for her off-court looks, she loves shopping in NYC's Soho area for brands like Louis Vuitton, Ed Hardy, Armani Exhange, Diesel and Miss Sixty.
In addition to her passion for fashion, Wozniacki strongly believes that health and physical fitness are important in the lifestyle of all young girls. Along with tennis, she also likes swimming and boxing to stay fit. And the blonde beauty even has her own line of organic hair and body products in Denmark. The line focuses on health and well being and is called Caroline Wozniacki - Love All. All in all, this girl is the total package.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: LANDON DONOVAN
This is a huge year for soccer with the much anticipated 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa. And no one is more excited than Major League Soccer's highest-paid and most-prized American superstar, Landon Donovan. Donovan was just loaned to Everton of the English Premier League for six months, from the Los Angeles Galaxy. For you non-soccer fans out there, this is a major deal. But Landon is no stranger to soccer success. He is the all-time leader in scoring and assists for the U.S. National Team. Landon continues to be the dominant force in U.S. Soccer, with record-breaking caps and goals and the honor of being named the Honda Player of the Decade.
Many believe Landon is the “Michael Jordan of soccer” and it’s easy to see why. His play on the field, good looks and giving nature have also attracted major brands like Nike and most recently Gatorade. Landon will join the likes of Derek Jeter and Peyton Manning in representing the iconic sports drink brand. Not only will he be the new face of Gatorade’s G2, but he will become the first male soccer player ever to endorse the brand.
And speaking of endorsements; the Landon news that proved to be just as popular as his move to Everton involved a Mexican Lottery commercial. Seriously. Landon is so popular in Mexico that he has recently appeared in a new TV commercial for the Mexican Lottery where the motto is “Winning in Mexico is much easier.” The guy even has a great sense of humor.
To top it all off, this soccer stud is really easy on the eyes. And good news ladies: he’s recently single after splitting with wife, “Rules of Engagement” star, Bianca Kajlich. Soccer fan or not, Landon is a great reason to tune into the World Cup this Summer.
Landon Donovan is Who’s Haute.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: JOEY LOGANO
An 18 year-old who has been racing for over 12 years? Not possible right? Well it’s true. Joey Logano’s road to racing began at only 6 years old, with his first victory at the age of 7. And his success hasn’t stopped there. In only his third career Nationwide NASCAR Series, Joey Logano became the youngest winner in Nationwide Series history. He was also the 2009 Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year. Now Logano will join the elite NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Daytona in February, as the new driver of the No. 20 Home Depot Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing.
This NASCAR cutie is known throughout his sport as “the best thing since sliced bread.” With a reputation like that, it’s no surprise that sponsors like Home Depot, GameStop and SportClips are always racing to represent Logano. But for Joey, it’s not only about nicknames and victories. His success does not let him get off track with what’s really important. Logano supports several charities including David’s House and The Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth and prides himself on helping others.
And though you’ll rarely see him without his racing suit on, this driver even knows a thing or two about accessorizing. Joey’s favorite piece of “clothing” is his Wiley-X Sunglasses. These shades are part of the Wiley X Racing Climate Control Series making them both fashionable and functional and giving Joey some major style points. Keep an eye out for this rising star.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: TIM LINCECUM
Tim Lincecum, right-handed pitcher for the San Francisco Giants, won his second consecutive Cy Young Award last week. He’s only the 8th player in baseball history to win the award in two straight seasons. At only 25 years-old, Lincecum has become the face of the Giants team, he has dominated NL batters, and he’s established himself as one of the best pitchers in the game.
From his unconventional throwing mechanics to his unique fashion sense, Linceum has a style all his own, both on and off the field. Teammates have nicknamed him "The Freak" because his size, wild windup and unique pitches manage to translate into great results. And when it comes to media appearances, rather than sporting the usual business professional clothing like his teammates, Lincecum opts for a more casual look. Reminiscent of a "skater," he can often be seen wearing a plaid shirt and a beanie.
As evident in his fashion choices, Lincecum is known for his laid back and relaxed demeanor. As an avid video gamer, you may have seen him and his avatar in the commercial for the MLB 2K9 game. He possesses the attitude that baseball and life are both games of fun.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: LINDSEY VONN
World champion ski racer, Lindsey Vonn, is one of the most successful female ski racers in American history. She was the first American woman to have won two consecutive overall World Cup championships, in 2008 and 2009. She also holds the U.S. record with nine World Cup Wins in a single season. While she’s won just about every other prize, she has yet to win an Olympic medal; but she will soon have her chance. Vonn cannot wait to compete at the 2010 games in Vancouver and her fans can’t wait either. Many believe she has the potential to become the “Michael Phelps of the Winter Olympics.”
Vonn has always had success on the slopes and with the Winter Games just around the corner, she’s also become a huge hit with marketers. She has signed on with major manufacturer and Olympic sponsor, Proctor & Gamble (P&G), and will appear in P&G beauty ad campaigns for brands including Cover Girl, Olay, Pantene, Secret, and Venus.
The skier has admitted that fashion and style have always been of interest to her, as a different way to express herself. In fact, she recently took off her snow boots and slipped into stilettos for her very first fashion spread in Austria’s 1st magazine.
And now Lindsey is letting fans make a big fashion decision on her behalf. Enter here to contribute your original artwork, for a chance to appear on a customized helmet that she will wear on the slopes in Vancouver!

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: JOZY ALTIDORE
As an integral member of the U.S. National Soccer Team, Jozy Altidore helped the squad qualify for the upcoming 2010 World Cup in South Africa. This 19-year old striker was the youngest U.S. player to score in the Major League Soccer (MLS) play-offs, in his first international game and in a World Cup Qualifier. He is also the youngest U.S. player to record a hat trick. Jozy was part of the team at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and he has recently been loaned to the Hull City team of the English Premier League (from the Villarreal team of the Spanish Primera Division and the U.S. National Team) for the 2009/2010 season.
Once a New York City resident, Jozy has admitted that he loves the city’s bright lights and his favorite thing to do in NYC is to go shopping. Lately, you probably haven't seen him roaming the city streets, but it's likely that you have seen him in the Adidas "Impossible is Nothing" ad campaign. He is one of the stars featured in the ads, alongside fellow soccer stud David Beckham. The campaign focuses on the challenges and struggles faced by a variety of athletes and Jozy's participation is a huge step in helping to bring some recognition to U.S. Soccer.
Some say Jozy has the potential to become the next big thing, the “LeBron James of soccer,” who will shine not only on the field but who could also become a media icon. And the sport of American soccer could use an exciting young superstar like Jozy, who can attract new fans and capture the attention of up-and-coming players.

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: PAULA CREAMER
Paula Creamer is currently one of the top five female golfers in the world. In only four seasons as a professional on the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour, Creamer has won 10 tournaments, including eight LPGA Tour events. She was named LPGA Rookie Of The Year in 2005 and has been ranked in the top 10 of the Women's World Golf Rankings since they were introduced in February 2006. With such an accomplished career thus far, it’s hard to believe this rising star is only 23-years old.
Paula is known as much for her skills on the green as for her love of pink. Nicknamed the “Pink Panther,” Creamer always sports pink apparel when she tees-off. And that’s not all. Her golf clubs have pink grips, she uses a Pink Panther club head holder, carries a pink golf bag and always uses a pink golf ball in the last round of every tournament.
But Creamer's off-the-course look is quite different. In a recent interview with RizzoSports, she described her personal style as "classic but edgy” and revealed that her real addiction is accessories. So it’s no surprise that she often celebrates a victory with a purchase to help remember the win, such as a ring, bracelet or handbag. Who could blame her?

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: OWEN WRIGHT
A Glam Slam introduces you to the next big thing in surfing: Aussie hottie Owen Wright. This 19-year-old has quickly become an exciting and dominant force in the sport. Not only did he go undefeated in every Junior Pro tournament that he surfed this year, but as a wildcard entry, he recently eliminated 9-time ASP World Champion, Kelly Slater, in the Rip Curl pro search. Wright has also secured a position on the 2010 ASP World Tour.
Wright is a member of the Rip Curl team and has just re-signed with the major sponsor for five more years. And Rip Curl, an Australian manufacturer and retailer of surfwear, has also released a new line of surf gear. Wright has taken part in the design of a high-performance boardshort called MIRAGE 3. The MIRAGE 3 short is the top of the line “boardie” in the collection because of the comfortable fit and "cool" look for surfers.
And the “Wright stuff” is definitely in the genes. Owen has also signed a major sponsorship deal with Boost Mobile along with his three younger siblings, who are up-and-coming surfers.
The motto of this laid back dude, “Have fun and never give up.”

WHO'S HAUTE? THURSDAYS: CANDACE PARKER
Candace Parker shined in her days at the University of Tennessee. In 2008, she was selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft by the L.A. Sparks and was the first woman in the WNBA to win both Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player. Parker missed part of the 2009 season due to the birth of her first child (her husband is Boston Celtics forward, Shelden Williams). Just seven weeks after giving birth, Parker transitioned from diapers to dunks, leading her team all the way to the Western Conference finals. A starting forward and a super mom, Candace Parker does it all.
It’s no surprise that Adidas chose Parker as the face of their recent “Me, Myself” campaign. The campaign encouraged women to share their “real stories of training struggles and successes.” This was a perfect fit for Parker, who demonstrates that you really can achieve the impossible.
Juggling a big-time career and a new family can take a toll on your looks, but Parker even manages to keep her fashion-sense in tact. In an interview with Teen Vogue, she revealed her off-court style. “I'm big on being comfortable, but still remaining fashionable. I love Rock & Republic jeans and I will sport an Affliction or Ed Hardy T-shirt. My latest fetishes are hats and my favorite store is Nordstrom or Arden B.” Parker even has dogs named Fendi and Prada!

From his days at the University of Michigan to his stints with the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles, Jones has been as productive and reliable as they come.
