Just like their professional baseball player husbands, the New York Yankee wives have transitioned from minor league to major league lifestyles. But it wasn't always easy (and it's still not).

• While they might don designer duds now, these wives spent lots of time in dingy motels while their husbands paid their dues.
• What do they do when they're not watching ball? They attend Fashion Week, trunk shows and other designer sales and hang out with the kids and plan picnics at the stadium.
• This circle of wives is very exclusive, so much so that girlfriends are not allowed. Not even celebrity girlfriends! Sorry Minka.
